What is virgin maize oil?
Maize oil is obtained from maize germ, which is toasted and then pressed. Toasting gives it a unique, recognisable and much-loved nutty aroma and flavour. Amber in colour, it has a high content of unsaturated fatty acids.

It can be used as a virgin oil or refined. It is found in various applications such as sauces, oil blends, ready meals, etc.
