Udany dzień współpracy, aby uczcić 50-lecie Kalizea z partnerami spółdzielczymi.

To mark its 50th anniversary, Kalizea brought together its agricultural partners for a day of sharing, discovery and conviviality. This event helped to strengthen ties between the teams at Kalizea, VIVESCIA Coopérative and the cooperative members who keep the maize industry going on a daily basis.

Throughout the day, participants were able to take part in several workshops presenting Kalizea's various activities and the key stages in corn processing. These discussions provided a better understanding of the expertise mobilised within the company and the challenges facing the industry, from grain to various finished products.

The tour of the mill was a highlight, offering a glimpse of our industrial facilities and the corn processing process. Farmers were able to see first-hand how their production is enhanced, step by step, with a focus on quality and sustainability.

Finally, the day ended on a warm note with a convivial gathering and a tasting of corn-based products. It was a festive way to celebrate half a century of commitment, innovation and partnership together.

The day illustrated the importance of collaboration between Kalizea and stakeholders in the agricultural sector.

All in pink: Kalizea Reims employees rally for Pink October!

All in pink: Kalizea Reims employees rally for Pink October!

To mark Pink October, a month dedicated to raising awareness of breast cancer screening, Kalizea Reims employees present on the day showed their support by dressing in pink.

In a friendly atmosphere, the team gathered wearing different shades of pink, showing their interest in this cause that affects many women every year.

A simple gesture to remind us of the importance of prevention and screening.

Odkrywaj dziką przyrodę na naszej stronie w Pringy!

Discovering wildlife on our Pringy site!

On Tuesday 29 July, our Pringy complex welcomed a very special visitor: Mr FERY, a passionate naturalist from the CPIE du Sud Champagne association, who came to install reptile plaques as part of a biodiversity study. These signs, discreetly installed throughout the site, will enable us to observe the species that live there, which are often elusive. Please do not move them during the study, which will last several months!

The CPIE du Sud Champagne is a local association committed to protecting wildlife, raising public awareness and carrying out environmental assessments. It plays a key role in helping us to better understand and preserve our natural heritage.

Kalizea, Malteurop and VIVESCIA have joined forces to support this association through two concrete actions:

• Donation of grain to feed injured birds cared for by the centre.

• Comprehensive biodiversity assessment of the entire Pringy complex.

On that day, Mr. FERY was accompanied by Bruno ANDRIKO (Malteurop) and myself, Orphée MAILLARD (Kalizea). We spent the entire morning exploring the site with him, fascinated by his ability to interpret every animal, every song, every movement. He shared a wealth of anecdotes and information about the species we encountered, with a contagious passion that made us see our environment in a new light.

Observe, understand, preserve

This morning reminds us that biodiversity is all around us, often discreet, but always precious. And that everyone can play a role in protecting it.

Why not take part in the next session?

Did you know that our site is populated by dragonflies, true flying jewels with bright colours?

Have you ever watched the swallows circling above our heads? They mainly nest under the Malteurop silos, but seem to shun those of VIVESCIA... Why?

And do you know about the distinctive Argiope frelon, a spectacular spider with a yellow and black pattern, as impressive as it is harmless?

TRANSITIONS : A forward-looking program for regenerative and low-carbon agriculture

Yesterday, over 160 participants gathered for the 2nd seminar of the TRANSITIONS program, dedicated to transforming agricultural practices towards regenerative, low-carbon models that promote biodiversity and soil protection.

The agenda featured round tables, keynotes, and cross-perspectives between field actors, experts, clients, and committed partners. It was a powerful moment of co-construction and experience sharing around a common goal: evolving plant and cereal supply chains toward greater sustainability.

During the round table titled “Mobilizing stakeholders in plant and cereal supply chains”, Kalizea, via Hugo NAUDET, CEO and his client Griffith Foods, via Florian PLOMION, European Purchasing Manager, shared concrete insights into the value of the TRANSITIONS program for their operations.

The seminar also featured a speech by the honor President of SAI Platform, who praised the program as robust, reliable, and now recognized as the largest of its kind in Europe.

TRANSITIONS continues to play a leading role in transforming agricultural practices, bringing stakeholders together around a shared vision: an agriculture that regenerates soils, reduces carbon footprint, and protects biodiversity.
